In the first two chapters of the first book of the Bible, God, as the
author of the Scriptures, reveals fundamental truths to us. In the
prophetic meaning of verses, we are given answers to the most important
questions of mankind: “What is the meaning of human life?”, “Why did God
create Lucifer?”, “What is the purpose of God in the creation of the
world?”
Jesus said to the Jews opposing Him: “For had ye believed Moses, ye
would have believed me: for he wrote of me.” (John 5:46). Indeed,
the Author of the Scriptures by the words of Moses tells us about
Christ, about events connected with Him, showing in each prototype new
details of the future time. And there is no such chapter whose narrative
is not related to Him. We will cover the first chapters of Genesis.
In the first chapter, telling about the origin of the world, Scripture
actually shows us the story of the creation of a new heaven and a new
earth. The history begins in eternity and ends with eternity.
The final creation of God is not man at all, but Christ and the Church -
the temple, not made with hands, which is built in the image and
likeness of God. In the book of Revelation, he that sat upon the throne
in eternity - God. Starting with the third verse, we are shown all the
most important stages of the construction of this temple. He is “an
holy Temple in the Lord” (Eph.2:21). In the prophetic meaning of
verses, everything that happens is subordinated only to this goal. The
creation of the Earth, the Sun, the Universe is of secondary importance
and is not even mentioned in the first chapter. These “things were
created by him, and for him” for a season and time, as something
auxiliary. And as soon as the wife, the bride of the Lamb, passes the
test, they “shall perish” (Ps.102:26). The dual nature of this
world is not compatible with eternity. The world around us tends to
chaos, decay, death, and is characterized by an increase in entropy.
The “six days” of creation take a period of time significantly exceeding
7000 years. But on an eternity scale, this is an infinitesimal quantity.
We are witnesses to the “fifth day” of creation, the future Millennium
will be the “sixth day” of creation. The “Seventh day” is a prototype of
eternity. 6000 years have passed since the creation of Adam, and the
most important events will occur over the remaining period of time. All
creation time is divided into two main periods of time - preparatory
work and direct construction. The death of Jesus the Son of God divides
them. Each day of creation is a certain stage in the preparation or
construction of this Temple, and the time allocated for each such “day”
is different.
On the “third day” of creation, life appeared. On the “fourth day”
Lucifer was created and the Son of God was born. In the first chapter,
the Scripture speaks about this, talking about the creation of two great
lights, in the second chapter there is another type, these are two trees
in the middle of the garden. The creation of the Moon, the Sun and stars
is out of the question; the Scripture uses them as images.
At the beginning of the “fifth day” the Scripture shows us the first
born (firstborns) from “living water”, and at the end of this day speaks
of a solemn assembly, where God will bless those gathered. At the end of
the “sixth day” the construction of the temple not made by hands will be
completed. God will bless Christ and the Church. Eternity will come.
The last verse of the first chapter concludes with the words:
“And the evening and the morning were the sixth day”
(Gen.1:31)
The “seventh day” of rest is spoken of in the second chapter. The “six
days” of creation and the “seventh day” of rest are a prototype of six
thousand years and the Millennium.
But the “seventh day” is also a prototype of eternity. The “seventh day”
is absent in the first chapter, and not a word is said about it, thus
the Scripture shows that after the “sixth day” eternity will come.
Moreover, it has no completion, as the previous “days of creation.” The
phrase that defines the time to carry out the planned work: “And the
evening and the morning were”, does not limit the “seventh day”. The
“seventh day”, having no boundary in time, means eternity. But not the
eternal rest, but the eternal service.
The second chapter shows the main and final part of the overall picture
of the first chapter, its fragment, in which events occur on a time
interval of 7000 years, and therefore we can consider them in more
detail. The second chapter is a brief figurative content of the entire
Scripture: from Genesis to the Revelation of John. Therefore, if we
continue reading the 21st chapter of the book of Revelation after the
second chapter with, the context will not be broken, we will see the
continuation of the history. In chapter 21, the Scripture figuratively
shows us the constructed “holy Temple in the Lord” (Eph. 2:21),
and in the next chapter 22 we are shown the ministry of Christ and the
Church in eternity. This service will never end, it will be like a
source of water of life, the waters of which never run dry. John saw
“a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the
throne of God and of the Lamb.” (Rev. 22: 1).
Two great lights
Ҧ And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to
divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for
seasons, and for days, and years:
And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light
upon the earth: and it was so.
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and
the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.”
(Gen.1:14-16)
On the fourth day two great Personalities were set by God “in the
firmament of heaven”: the Son of God and Lucifer. The “greater light”
is the Son of God, and the “lesser light” is Lucifer. First
Lucifer was created, after him the Son of God was born. This sequence is
shown in many prototypes. First Cain was born then Abel, first Ishmael
then Isaac, first Esau then Jacob.
Two great lights are the cause of the dual nature of everything that
exists in the world.
Lucifer was the covering Cherub, fulfilling the functions of steward in
the house of God (Gen.15:2). This steward, “a homeborn slave”
planned to become like the most High (Is.14:14). But the Scripture,
through next type, tells us that the Heir will come from the bosom of
the Father (John.1:18). The Lord told Abraham: “This shall not be
thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall
be thine heir” (Gen.15:3,4).
Lucifer, having been filled with unrighteousness, sinned and was
expelled “from the midst of the stones of fire” (Ezek.28:16) and
settled in high places. God
“brake up for it”
His “decreed place, and set bars and doors,
And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy
proud waves be stayed”
(Job.38:10,11).
The fall of Lucifer occurred before the creation of the first man, and
was predetermined.
Stars “in the firmament of heaven” are created beings, “all
ministering spirits” (Heb.1:14). It was they, “the morning
stars,” the “sons of God” who watched the creation process
and rejoiced (Job.38:7) when the Lord “laid the foundations of the
earth” (Job.38:4).
“And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the
earth,
And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light
from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.”
(Gen.1:17,18).
The devil was set to rule at night. He lives with his sword and thus
serves his brother (Gen. 27:40). His function is to lead a person from
the truth, if he loved the untruth. The time will come, and the Lord God
will show His power over him, that the name of the Lord Jesus Christ
“might be declared throughout all the earth” (Rom. 9:17).
People ask themselves, “Why does Scripture repeat the same thought
twice? After all, “to rule over the day and over the night” is
the same as “to divide the light from the darkness” they say. Yes
it is, if this expression is applied to the Sun and the Moon, as objects
in the firmament, then they are right, there is no difference. But if we
consider the prophetic meaning of this verse, then the difference is
immediately apparent.
The first living souls
The first animals that came out of the water belong to amphibians, but
does the Scripture speak of them? Does God take care for birds?
Scripture calls a person “a living soul” if his name is written in the
book of life of the Lamb. A person receives the beginning of a new birth
at a time when his spirit is born from the Word of God. A born spirit is
a small piece of God’s nature within a man. It is like a grain to
mustard seed, which is sown in the earth (Mark 4:31). Jesus said:
“the kingdom of God is within you”
(Luke.17:21).
People born from the word of truth are like the precious living stones
that make up a building. It
“fitly framed together groweth unto an holy Temple in the Lord”
(Eph.2:21).
People whose spirit is not born of the word of truth are not mentioned
at all in the first chapter of the first book of Moses called Genesis.
In eternity they are not. The natural man, living “according to the
course of this world” (Eph.2:2), “fulfilling the desires of the
flesh” (Eph.2:3), is “dead in trespasses and sins” (Eph.2:1).
He is given to “abomination” and “a lie” (Rev.21:27).
“And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature
that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open
firmament of heaven.”
(Gen.1:20).
Thus, figuratively in the artistic style, Scripture speaks of the
rapture of the Church of the firstborn. Words: “fowl that may fly
above the earth in the open firmament of heaven” (Gen.1:20), sound
like words from the song:
“And the blue sky is above me,
Cranes fly like the joy flock
There is a lot joy in their bird’s holler
They are returning to their eternal homeland.”
This is the refrain of the song “Where are you beautiful?”

“And God said, Let the waters bring foorth aboundantly the mouing
creature that hath life, and foule that may flie aboue the earth in the
open firmament of heauen”
(Gen.1:20).
Scripture tells us of the first “the moving creature that hath life”
born of “water” in verse 20. At first, they will be few in number.
Jesus, sending two disciples to the city, told them: “Go ye into the
city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow
him.” (Mark.14:13). This is a type of the rapture of the Church of
the firstborn. A man carrying a pitcher of water, whom the disciples
must follow for, is a type of Christ, Who has “living water”
(John. 4:10).
The birth of a “the moving creature that hath life” became possible due
to the death of the Man, the Son of God. Jesus said:
“Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
(John.2:19).
Three time periods
The construction time of the temple of the miraculous is divided by four
dates into three time periods. They are designated in the Law of Moses.
This construction began Nisan 14, 34, from the “fifth day” of creation.
In ceremonial law this day is called the Passover of the Lord.
Each stage of construction ends with the feast of the Lord, “which ye
shall proclaim to be holy convocations” (Lev.23: 37).
“These are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy
convocations”
(Lev.23:37).
Scripture speaks of the Church of God, using many types. The lightest
types are: the wife, the bride of the Lamb (Rev.21:9), and the new
Jerusalem (Rev. 21). Speaking about the new Jerusalem, the Scripture
designates and shows us these three stages of the construction of the
Temple, not made with hands. Scripture especially distinguishes from the
whole structure of the city: twelve foundations, and a great wall, and
twelve gates, and streets. The twelve foundations are faithful. The city
wall and the twelve gates are chosen and called. The city itself is
Israel and the saved Gentiles. But a city without a light is like a body
without a head, and “the Lamb is the light thereof.” (Rev.21:23).
And together, this is the Temple, not made with hands. (From the work
“The Temple of His Body”).
So, first the foundation of the city wall should be built, then the city
wall, and then the city itself. Scripture, addressing to who from among
the Gentiles will be turned to God in the future Millennium, tells them:
“Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but
fellowcitizens with the Saints, and of the household of God;
And are built upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Jesus
Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy
Temple in the Lord”
(Eph.2:19-21)
There is currently no foundation, but construction is underway. The
foundation is the most important structural element of the whole
structure, its support. Therefore, this stage of construction is the
most responsible and long, although between the evening of Nisan 14 and
the morning of Nisan 15 is only one night. But this is a long night, it
has been going on for 2,000 years, and it will end with the rapture of
the Church of the firstborn. In ceremonial law, this event is marked as
the day of waving by “the sheaf.”
“And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without
blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD.”
(Lev.23:12)
The feast that completes this stage of construction is called the
“feast of unleavened bread” (Lev.23:6), or the feast “of the
firstfruits of wheat harvest” (Ex.34:22).
The first, longest stage of construction is modestly described in verse
20. It doesn’t seem to exist. But on the day of waving the sheaf, the
“birds” will fly “above the earth in the open firmament of heaven”
(Gen. 1:20).
On the first day of the week, gatherings of Saints will be held (1
Cor. 16:14), their duration is 24 hours, from midnight “until
midnight”, local time. Having set off on the second day of the week,
the “disciples” will gather in the heavenly tabernacle “to
break bread” (Acts 20: 7,8).
Until the end of the “fifth day” of creation, faithful will have to
bring chosen to the tabernacle of heaven. Chosen will call called, and
they will go out to meet the bridegroom.
Scripture figuratively calls the second phase of construction the
harvest. It will last 49 years and is divided into wheat harvest and the
next barley harvest. In the new Jerusalem (Rev. 21), this corresponds to
the construction of the city wall and the installation of gates in it.
In ceremonial Law, the feast that concludes this phase of construction
is called “the feast of weeks” (Ex. 34:22), or fifty days (Lev.
23:16). The jubilee fiftieth year indicates to us the second apparent
coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The third stage of construction is the most favorable, because it falls
on the future Millennium. It will be ended when heaven and earth cease
to exist. During this time, a lot of people will be saved. The holiday
that completes the last stage of construction is called: “the feast
of ingathering at the year’s end” (Ex. 34:22). At this, the
construction of the holy Temple in the Lord will be completed. The Lord
said to Moses:
Ҧ Thrice in the year shall all your men children appear before the Lord
GOD, the God of Israel.”
(Ex.34:23).
During the construction of the Temple, made not with hands, “men
children” have yet never appeared “before the Lord GOD”.
Here, Scripture calls the “men children” all people who have loved the
truth, both men and women. Because they are men of might, and men of war
fit for the battle (1Chr.12:8). Persecuted for their godly lives in
Christ Jesus, they do not despair in desperate circumstances.
Scripture shows us the construction of the Temple, made not with hands,
in three sections of the Old Testament: Law of Moses, and Prophets, and
Psalms. Jesus said: “...all things must be fulfilled, which were
written in the Law of Moses, & in the Prophets, and in the Psalms
concerning me” (Luke 24:44).
Great whales, and every living creature that moveth, and winged fowl.
“And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth,
which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every
winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
(Gen.1:21).
In this verse, Scripture divides the saved into three groups, briefly
characterizing each of them. Three groups of the saved, “which the
waters brought forth” -- great whales, and every living creature
that moves, and winged fowl.
For 2,000 years now, “the times of this ignorance” have been
going on (Acts 17:30). Scripture figuratively calls this time a night.
No wonder the darkest part of this "night" is called the dark centuries.
The balance of power between good and evil, in this period of time, is
in favor of the devil. Therefore, there is a lot of evil and injustice
in the world. There are very few people who, in such circumstances,
strive to live, in conscience, in truth. They are also few, like great
whales, if we compare their number with all fish in the seas and oceans.
At the time of the rapture of the Church of the firstborn, a similar
different between whales and all fish will become apparent to many. Few
people will be raptured. Scripture, as if on behalf of Christ, speaks of
this event:
Ҧ And I arose in the night, I and some few men with me; neither told I
any man what my God had put in my heart to do at Jerusalem”
(Neh.2:12).
The Scripture calls these few people “faithful”. In various
prototypes they are called: firstborn, “the chief of their fathers”
(Ezra.8:1), the “rulers” (Ezra.10:14), “rulers of thousands”
(Ex.18: 21). Now a new name is added -- “great whales” (Gen.
1:21). The number of these “animals” reaches a critically low level. In
the ceremonial Law, the firstborns are called “a sheaf of the
firstfruits” (Lev.23:10). This name gives us the opportunity to
compare the number of faithful with the number of chosen and called. One
can imagine the number of ears of the first sheaf of the harvest and the
number of ears of the whole harvest of barley and wheat harvest. The
ratio of these numbers will be very large.
At the time of the rapture, the faithful will be like the arrows and
the fowl -- “the arrows” (1Sam.20:36), and “fowl” (Gen.
1:20).
The second group of saved people is chosen. Scripture figuratively calls
them: “every living creature that moveth” and clarifies that
“the waters brought forth abundantly” them. They will “come” to the
tabernacle of heaven at the appointed times. The gathering of the chosen
is compared with the gathering of ears on the threshing floor in a stack
during the harvest of wheat. And if the first sheaf of the harvest
(ripened ears) is harvested with hands, then the later ripened harvest
is cut with harvesting knives, which means that all chosen will go
through death into heavenly tabernacle. They will be beheaded “for
the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God” (Rev. 20: 4). In the
book of Ruth, the Scriptures show us the future harvest. The Church of
the firstborn will pick up “ears of corn” “after the reapers” in
the field (Ruf.2:3) to the end of the harvest time. John saw the
gathered “ears” in the tabernacle of heaven; he saw “under the
altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the
testimony which they held” (Rev.6:9).
The third group of saved people from verse 21 is “every winged fowl
after his kind”. These are “an hundred and forty and four
thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel” (Rev.7:4),
“which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God”
(Luke 9:27). According to the command of the king of the Chaldeans, they
will not have to live until “the morning”, but in spite of this,
they will be miraculously delivered from death. Scripture shows this
event in chapter 3 of the book of Daniel, and in chapter 12 of the book
of Revelation:
“And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might
fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a
time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.”
(Rev.12:14)
Two “wings of a great Eagle” will be given to called on the
wedding supper of the Lamb “at midnight”. And the sea will have
dried before them — the waters of the great deep. They will be raptured
together with the two witnesses (Rev. 11), to the third heaven. All
enemies chasing them will be defeated. Thus, signs and wonders will be
revealed over the kingdom of the beast because they will act arrogantly
with Israel (Neh. 9:10). Israel’s going forth out of the land of Egypt
is a prototype of these events. The Lord will be revealed to them when
they are enslaved to the Babylonian harlot.
In the parable of the ten virgins, in the image of the five wise
virgins, we are shown called who will go to “meet the bridegroom”
(Matt. 25: 1). They will be harvested five months after the start of the
harvest of barley.
As one can be seen from the verse (Gen.1:21), only one last group of
people will be raptured unto the marriage supper of the Lamb at the end
of the seventieth week of Daniel. Blessed are they which are called.
Chosen will not participate in this rapture. By this time their souls
will be gathered in the tabernacle of heaven under the altar (Rev.6:9),
just as during the harvest period the heap of corn is gathering in the
threshing floor (Ruf.3). They, having risen, will go “into the holy
city” and appear to many (Matt.27:52,53), (Rev. 22:19).
In chapter 12 of the book of Revelation, Scripture shows us these three
groups of saved people during the last seven years of the harvest.
People faithful to Christ in the tabernacle of heaven are shown to us in
the form of a woman clothed with the Sun. Scripture shows people who are
faithful to Christ, not only in the image of a bride or virgin, but also
in the image of a woman, and a widow, and a daughter. Here is a special
image -- “a woman clothed with the Sun” (Rev. 12: 1). Her
appearance in heaven will be a great wonder. Chosen are shown to us in
the form of a man child being born; it means that they will also be like
a woman clothed with the Sun.
Another prototype of faithful and chosen is Mary, who, on the eve of her
betrothal to Joseph, was found with child of the Holy Ghost (Mat.1:18).
The Sun in the first type and Joseph in the other one point to Jesus
Christ.
And now, “another wonder” appears in heaven -- “a great red
dragon” (Rev. 12: 3). The image of a dragon, we are shown the devil.
John saw a woman, who “being with child cried, travailing in birth,
and pained to be delivered” (Rev.12:2). Scripture explains us the
pain and torment of the Church of the firstborn in the following verse:
“the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered,
for to devour her child as soon as it was born” (Rev.12:4).
Scripture shows that the birth of a child will occur in the presence of
a dragon, and his rapturing unto God will be with its direct
participation. During the “wheat harvest”, absolutely everyone on earth
who accepted Christ as their Savior will be killed by the Babylonian
harlot (Rev.17:6). Each of them in due time will hear the call of
Christ: “Follow me” (John.1:43). The torment of a woman in
childbirth at the end of her strength figuratively characterizes the
ministry of the Church of the firstborn in the tabernacle of heaven. And
this ministry will be a test for them.
“And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a
rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his Throne”
(Rev.12:5).
John saw “the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of
Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast,
neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads,
or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand
years.” (Rev.20:4).
In another type, Scripture shows us chosen in the image of the youngest
brother. Joseph said his brothers:
“ye shall be proved: By the life of Pharaoh ye shall not go forth hence,
except your youngest brother come hither”
(Gen.42:15).
The Lord GOD swears by Himself that no one will come out alive from the
tabernacle of heaven unless the “youngest brother” comes there,
in other words, unless “a man child” is born.
Scripture prophetically says: “Christ, the Son of God! Do not be afraid
to take for Himrself the Church of the firstborn (a pure virgin),
“for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost“
(Matt.1:20).
The Church of the firstborn will bring their youngest brother (chosen),
they will call called, and then there will be called Jacob and all his
kindred (Acts.7:14), which were afar off, and that were nigh (Eph.2:17),
(Acts.2:39).
Scripture calls people faithful to Christ “a virgin espoused to a
man” (Luke 1:27). Two future events: the feast of unleavened bread
and DAY of Pentecost can also be considered as betrothal and marriage.
The ordinance of the service of God and the organization of the earth’s
Sanctuary in Scripture show us future ministry in the Tabernacle of
heaven. And the priests, and Levites, and the porters, and the
singers put to the ministry show us the ministry of called, &
chosen, and faithful.
The first blessing
The first stage of construction will be completed with “the feast of
unleavened bread” (Lev.23: 6), but Christ and His firstborns will
not receive the blessings of God in the tabernacle of heaven. Because
Christ will be delivered for our sins into the hands of the devil and
his angels for seven years.
For it will become “him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all
things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their
salvation perfect through sufferings.” (Heb.2:10)
The Church of the firstborn, having passed the test, will prove that
“the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matt.16:18). The
priests, going to the line beyond which the second death occurs, in the
battle for those who remained on the earth, who believe in Him, will
actually condemn themselves to death. This time is described in detail
in the work “The Way of the Lord”.
The “fifth day” of creation will be completed by the second holiday –
THE DAY OF PENTECOST. Christ will be delivered “for our
offences” and WILL RISE AGAIN “for our justification” (Rom.
4:25). Faithful, and chosen, and called, who are born of an
incorruptible seed, from the word of truth, on this day will be born of
the Holy Ghost. Christ and the Church will be one flesh, this “is a
great mystery” (Eph. 5:31,32). His enthronement, and the marriage
(Rev.19:7), and resurrection in a glorious body, will occur on THE
DAY OF PENTECOST. God the Father will say:
“Yet haue I set my King vpon my holy hill of Sion.
I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said vnto mee, Thou art my
sonne, this day haue I begotten thee”
(Ps.2:6,7)
This DAY Christ will become perfect. In order to achieve such
perfection, He was once born in the Family of God. Having God's nature
from birth, He could not be the image and likeness of God. But now (on
the Day of Pentecost), that holy thing which shall be born “shall be
called the son of God” (Luke 1:35). The born Son is Christ and the
Church, as a one. God will exalt Him and give Him a Name “which is
above every name” (Phil.2:9) -- the Lord Jesus Christ.
And God wil bless them, “saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill
the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth”
(Gen.1:21)
In the epistle of Ephesians, Israel as “an Apostle of Jesus Christ”
refers to “the Saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in
Christ Jesus”; these are called, & chosen, and faithful.
“Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord
Jesus Christ.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath
blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ”
(Eph.1:1-3)
ON DAY OF PENTECOST, the faithful, the elect, and the invited will
receive all spiritual blessings “in heavenly places”.
But why is Israel calling themselves among those who will receive a
blessing “in heavenly places”? Israel says: “blessed us.”
Despite the absence of Israel “in heavenly places”. God will
bless them on an equal footing with the Saints and faithful in Christ
Jesus. Here Ephesus, prophetically, is heavenly Jerusalem. God bless
Israel “with all spiritual blessings” because Israel, together
with the Saints and faithful in Ephesus, will consist “the body of
Christ” (1Cor.12:27), and, as “a chosen vessel” (Acts.9:15),
for obedience “to the faith among all nations” (Rom.1:5); “for
salvation is of the Jews” (John 4:22). The Lord will add “to the
church daily such as should be saved” (Acts 2:47).
“Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the Seas”
(Gen.1:22)
The phrase “in the Seas” (Gen. 1:22) means nations, and kindreds,
and people, and tongues, far removed from kinship to the people of
Israel. The Gentiles of the Millennium, having heard “the word of
truth” and having believed in Him, will be sealed “with that holy
Spirit of promise” (Eph. 1:13). Because the promise belongs to
Israel and their children, and “to all that are afar off, even as
many as the Lord our God shall call” (Acts. 2:38,39). A man called
by the Lord and received living water will himself become the source of
the grace of God (John.4:14).
“For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the
LORD, as the waters cover the sea”
(Habakk.2:14).
Together with Israel, they will not “come behind in no gift”
waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1Cor.1:7).
“and let fowl multiply in the earth”
(Gen.1:22).
And again, Scripture speaks of birds, which means the rapture. Birds,
which are multiplied on the earth, are the saved Gentiles, this is the
Philadelphia Church (Rev. 3:7). On the eve of impending anger, they will
be raptured to meet the Lord. This day in ceremonial Law is called:
“a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation”
(Lev. 23:24).
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the
voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in
Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them
in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with
the Lord”
(1Thess.4:16,17)
But Israel will remain on earth and be tested. They, “looking for the
mercy” of the Lord Jesus Christ “unto eternal life” (Jude
1:21), will shepherd “His sheep” (Gentiles) until the very last moment,
until heaven and earth cease to exist, saving them with fear,
“pulling them out of the fire” (Jude 1:23). And they themselves will
be like a brand plucked out of the fire (Zech.3:2). Scripture in the
words of John tells Israel of two baptisms.
“he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire”
(Luke.3:16).
The first baptism will take place at the beginning of the Millennium,
when the Holy Spirit will descend on them, and they will speak “with
tongues”, and prophesy (Acts 19:6). The second baptism, like a fiery
test, awaits them at the end of this world.
“And the evening and the morning were the fifth day”
(Gen.1:23)
The second blessing
To fully complete the construction of the holy Temple in the Lord (Eph.
2:21), the last “sixth day” of creation will be required. During this
time, God will put all enemies under the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The “ixth day” of creation is the future Millennium.
“For he (the Son) must reigne, till hee (the Father) hath put all
enemies vnder his (the Son) feete”
(1Cor.15:25)
“The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make
thine enemies thy footstool”
(Ps.110:1).
This is the only “day” of creation corresponding to a thousand years.
Heaven and earth are kept “unto fire against the day of judgment and
perdition of ungodly men.” (2Pet.3:7). The last enemy that the
Father will put down under the feet of the Son will be death.
And God will say, “Let
us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion
over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the
cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that
creepeth upon the earth”
(Gen.1:26).
When the “sixth day” of creation is completed, the Son will submit to
the Father so that the Father can complete His creation.
“That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather
together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and
which are on earth; even in him”
(Eph.1:10);
“that God may be all in all”
(1Cor.15:28).
Knowing the structure of the Temple, made not with hands, and knowing
that it will be built in the image of God, after His likeness, we gain
knowledge of God Himself: The Father and the Holy Ghost. God the Father
is the head of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost, like the Body of Christ,
is composed of a host of living “stones.”
The image and likeness of God: a man (Gen.1:26); his body consists of a
head, a neck, a trunk, limbs, fingers.
The image and likeness of God: the man & his wife (Gen. 2:21-25);
Christ and the Church (Eph.5:32); the new Jerusalem (Rev.21); the new
heaven and the new earth (Rev.21:1).
“And
God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and
replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of
the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that
moveth upon the earth”
(Gen.1:28)
God created people capable of reproduction, but does the Scripture speak
about this from the name of God: “Be fruitful, and multiply, and
replenish the earth”? No, this command does not apply to sex, as
people think. With this command, the history of creation by Christ and
the Church in eternity will begin. And He who sits on the throne will
say: “Behold, I make all things new” (Rev.21:5).
“And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very
good”
(Gen.1:31)
At the end of the first chapter, as well as at the end of the second, we
are shown the fully completed construction of the Temple, made not with
hands, and the beginning of eternity.
The Heaven and the Earth
In the first verse, Scripture speaks of the beginning of the world. God
created “the Heaven and the Earth" outside of time, in eternity.
“In the beginning God created the Heauen, and the Earth”
(Gen.1:1).
This is not about our Universe, which the Lord God will one day roll up
“as a vesture” (Heb.1:12). The Author of the Scripture speaks of
Heaven and Earth outside our Universe (the third heaven), as indicated
by the spelling of capitalized letters: “the
Heauen, and the Earth”.
This is unlimited space. But only without Christ and the Church, without
their ministry, without the ministry of the saved nations, all this
space remains lifeless.
“And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the
face of the deep”
(Gen.1:2).
God’s purpose is for Heaven and Earth will be filling with life, and
that they will filling with life continuously, forever, like the sea
into which a river flows, filling it.
In the third verse, Scripture speaks of the beginning of the first day
of creation, which means that the countdown had begun. From that day on,
God began to build a Temple, not made with hands, for the first time
using the power of the Word to create: “And God said ...”
(Gen.1:3).
Proponents of the gap theory interpret the words “without form, and
void” as a catastrophe of the first world. But after all, the new
large beautiful house with no signs of life in it also does not have a
view. It holds a negative creepy impression as empty and dark. Scripture
shows a similar picture in the second verse.
English-speaking believers surprise. Having the opportunity to read the
Authorized Version (KJV1611) in their native language, they have a great
advantage in the study of Scripture. And it would be logical to expect
from their side a sound interpretation of the Word of God. However,
instead of increasing in understanding the Word of God, they, on the
contrary, mislead people by inventing and supporting false doctrines.
The prototype of Christ and the Church in eternity is the new heaven and
new earth (Rev.21:1). At the end of the last sixth day of creation,
Scripture prophetically says:
“Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them”
(Gen.2:1).
The ministry of the Church in the seventh millennium will take place in
heaven and on earth. Saints and faithful will ministry in heaven (Eph.
1), and Israel -- on the earth. This ministry is a type of the ministry
in Heaven and on Earth in eternity. The completeness of heaven and earth
is when “both which are in heaven, and which are on earth” will
be united “together in one all things in Christ”, “in the
dispensation of the fulness of times” (Eph.1:10).
New worlds will be created where everyone who loves the truth and
thirsts for righteousness will have the right to enter “in through
the gates into the city” (Rev. 22:1), and “take the water of life
freely” (Rev. 22:17). The living water that Jesus spoke of to a
woman of Samaria will turn into “a pure river of water of life”
(Rev. 22:1) on the new earth. And this ministry will go on forever.
“Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end”
(Is.9:7).
The number of “seed” of Christ and the Church in eternity cannot be
calculated. The “nations of them which are saved” (Rev. 21:24),
will be like “all the host of them” (Gen. 2:1). The number of
these hosts will grow, and strive for infinity, because “there shall
be no end”. The Lord said to Abram:
“Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number
them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be”
(Gen.15:5).
So, the ministry of Christ and the Church in the future Millennium shows
us the ministry of him that sat upon the throne in eternity. Presumably,
eternity is still very “young”.
The world which are above, and the earth world
“These are the generations of the heauens, & of the earth, when they
were created; in the day that the LORD God made the earth, and the
heauens”
(Gen.2:4).
Note that in the first chapter, Scripture tells of the creations of God:
the Father and the Holy Spirit. In the second chapter, Scripture speaks
of the LORD God's creation. God created “the Heauen, and the
Earth” (Gen.1:1), and “the LORD God made the earth, and the
heauens”. What is the prophetic meaning of this?
All the stages of God’s creation, which Scripture speaks of in the first
chapter, take place on the non-material level. As you know, a person has
a body, soul and spirit. The body is the only component of man that is
subject to corruption, therefore, “flesh & blood cannot inherite the
kingdome of God: neither doth corruption inherite incorruption”
(1Cor.15:50). The body is “our earthly house”, “this
Tabernacle” (2Cor. 5:1).
“For we know, that if our earthly house of this Tabernacle were
dissolued, wee haue a building of God, an house not made with hand,
eternall in the heauens”
(2Cor.5:1).
The dust will return “to the earth as it was” (Eccl.12:7).
Therefore, the first chapter does not say anything about the bodily
birth of man and his life on the earth.
“As for man, his dayes are as grasse: as a flower of the field, so he
flourisheth.
For the winde passeth ouer it, and it is gone; and the place thereof
shall know it no more”
(Ps.103:15-16).
The soul and spirit of a person are his intangible (imperishable)
components. Scripture speaks of them in the first chapter. They have
their own sequence of birth, first “that which is naturall, and
afterward that which is spirituall” (1Cor.15:46).
“Howbeit that was not first which is spirituall: but that which is
naturall, and afterward that which is spirituall”
(1Cor.15:46)
Birthing of the “great whales”, “euery liuing creature that moueth” and
other “the liuing creature” comes spiritually from the word of truth.
“For the word of God is quicke and powerfull” (Heb.4:12).
Currently, God continues to create Heaven and Earth, giving birth with
His Word “creature that hath life” (Gen.1:20). This work will not
be completed until the end of the “sixth day” (until the end of the
Millennium). All creation created by God is rated “good” because
it refers to those things which are above: to eternal ideal world, which
cannot be said about our earthly: temporary, material world.
According to the chronology of the first chapter, our time refers to the
“fifth day” of creation. The Earth’s lifetime is limited to the “fifth
and sixth day” of creation.
The Universe, stars, the Earth, the Sun, and in general, the entire
material world was created by the Son of God, “all things were
created by him, and for him” (Col.1:15,16). Scripture prophetically
says: “the LORD God made the earth, and the heauens”. But this
creation is temporary, and therefore it is imperfect. It has a beginning
and an end. The Scripture from the name of Jesus Christ says: “I am
Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end” (Rev.21:6). The Son of
God “in the beginning hast layed the foundation of the earth” but
the time will come and they “shall perish.” He will fold them as
“a garment” (Heb. 1:10-12).
The second chapter shows us the ministry of the Son of God. We live in a
time when there are main actions in the creation of “Eve”. The sixth
thousand years is ending. Outside of “Eve”, there is no salvation.
The first chapter of Genesis and the last chapter of the book of
Revelation are the first and last chapters in the Bible, and therefore
have their own peculiarity. They speak of the creations of God that are
not related to our material world.
Seed of the life
Ҧ These are the generations of the heauens, & of the earth, when they
were created; in the day that the LORD God made the earth, and the
heauens,
And euery plant of the field, before it was in the earth, and euery
herbe of the field, before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it
to raine vpon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.”
(Gen.2:4,5).
Please note that the Lord God made “euery plant of the field”,
and “euery herbe of the field”, when there was still no Earth,
and “there was not a man to till the ground” (Gen.2:5). This
means that when there was no planet Earth, there was no Universe, and
the Son of God was not even born, our souls were brought to life by the
Word of God; “grasse” was produced on the third day of creation.
“And God said, Let the Earth bring foorth grasse, the herbe yeelding
seed, and the fruit tree, yeelding fruit after his kinde, whose seed is
in it selfe, vpon the earth: and it was so.
And the earth brought foorth grasse, and herbe yeelding seed after his
kinde, and the tree yeelding fruit, whose seed was in it selfe, after
his kinde: and God saw that it was good”
(Gen.1:11,12).
This is the first birth of life, the initial form of life. It appeared
in the form of an innumerable multitude of all “I”. At hour X, from the
whole set, one “I” is transferred into the fetus, which is formed in the
womb. God gives “to euery seed his owne body” (1Cor.15:38). Just
as the germinated seed continues the life of the plant, so the seed of
life transferred to the womb continues the life that has already begun
on Earth in the form of a natural body (1Cor.15:44). The first component
of man is his soul. The second component is his body. We are shown the
sequence of their creation in the verse: “seed after his kinde”,
and “fruit”, and seed which is “in it selfe”.
Now it is clear about what (or about whom) Lucifer cared in the house of
God, covering them by care. He was the “the annointed Cherub that
couereth“ (Ezek. 28:14). The innumerable initial form of life in the
house of God is called the stones of fire in the Scriptures. And
Scripture says to Lucifer from the name of God: “I haue set thee so;
thou wast vpon the holy mountaine of God; thou hast walked vp and downe
in the middest of the stones of fire” (Ezek.28:14). The Son of God
was not yet born, and the Angels were not created when Lucifer, proud
and imagining himself an heir, said in his heart: “I wil ascend into
heauen, I wil exalt my throne aboue the starres of God: I wil sit also
vpon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the North”(Is.14:13).
Lucifer, knowing or guessing about the purpose of God’s creations,
planned to become the head of a host of gods. He is the head and they is
body. This desire of his is confirmed by the following verse: “I wil
bee like the most High” (Is.14:14).
Two trees in the midst of the garden
Adam had to cultivate the garden of Eden and keep it. Adam is a type of
Jesus Christ. “Cultivating” human hearts and keeping them is the
ministry of Christ. He has living water is a gift from God.
“My sheepe heare my voyce, and I know them, and they follow me.
And I giue vnto them eternall life, and they shall neuer perish, neither
shall any man plucke them out of my hand”
(John.10:27,28).
A man who “cultivates” his heart himself is a man who follows the path
of Cain. Cain had both faith and works, and God cursed him.
Many people are interested in the question: “How could people who lived
before the incarnation of the Son of God and did not have the words of
truth, please God and receive eternal security in Christ?” In the second
chapter of Genesis (Gen.2:46), Scripture tells us that the Son of God
began His ministry before He appeared “in the flesh”. Scripture says
through the type:
“...for the LORD God had not caused it to raine vpon the earth, and
there was not a man to till the ground.
But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of
the ground”
(Gen.2:5,6).
Despite the fact that “the LORD God had not caused” Christ
“vpon the earth” (there was not a Man on the ground), His ministry
embraced, “irrigated,” “the whole face of the ground”, like a
mist. Note that Scripture in the sixth verse makes a distinction between
those things which are above and the earthly world. A mist went up from
“the earth” and irrigated the whole face of “the ground”.
The “earth” refers to those things which are above; it is in the
third heaven. The “ground” is our material world. Scripture also
uses the word “the ground” when it says that the LORD God formed
man of the dust of the ground (Gen. 2:7) and “there was not a man to
till the ground” (Gen. 2:5).
In the first chapter, the ministry of the Son of God is compared with
the Sun, which rises “on the euill and on the good”, the
righteous and unrighteous. The Father commands “his sunne” (Mat.
5:45). The man’s enemy, Lucifer, son of the morning, began his ministry
at the same time as the Son of God; and he, as “the lesser light”
rules the night (Gen.1:16). Therefore, the Moon in the earth’s firmament
is the second brightest object after the Sun.
In the second chapter, these two Persons are shown to us as the tree of
life and the tree of knowledge.
“And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow euery tree that is
pleasant to the sight, and good for food: the tree of life also in the
midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and euill”
(Gen.2:9).
Each “plant” on earth is cultivated by one person! Initially, it all
depends on what kind of long-term choice in his life a person made. If
he loved formality and untruth, then he would receive a wrong mind and
strong delusion, and this acquisition would be a fair retribution for
his choice. Christ has the power from God to save man, and the devil, on
the contrary, do to destroy; he rules the darkness and “cultivates
hearts” too. But in any case, the fate of man in eternity depends only
on himself. Everyone will be judged according to his deeds at the great
white throne (Rev. 20:11):
“To them, who by patient continuance in well doing, seeke for glorie,
and honour, and immortalitie, eternall life:
But vnto them that are contentious, & doe not obey the trueth, but obey
vnrighteousnes, indignation, & wrath”
(Rom.2:6-8).
The ministry of the Son of God began with the appearance of the first
man on the earth, which means that all the people from the creation of
Adam, who hated self-interest, sought to live in truth, according to
conscience, will receive everlasting life through the ministry of
Christ. Their names are written in the Lamb's book of life. Gentiles
who, not having the Word of God, even before the birth of Christ, sought
to live in truth, in good conscience, “of them that sleepe in the
dust of the earth shall awake” to everlasting life (Dan.12:2).
Scripture likens the first death to sleep; it is not terrible.
Ҧ Then they that feared the Lord, spake often one to another, and the
Lord hearkened and heard it, & a booke of remembrance was written before
him, for them that feared the Lord, & that thought vpon his name”
(Mal.3:16).
And when “before him shall be gathered all nations” He will
“diuide the light from the darkenesse” (Gen.1:18), in another type:
“his sheepe from the goats” (Mat.25:32), in the third: the wheat
from the tares (Matt .13:30), in the fourth: “the wicked from among
the iust” (Mat.13:49). And He will see that it will be “good”
(Gen.1:18).
God does not look at faces (Rom. 2:11), and therefore every person,
regardless, there is a Jew, or a Gentile, whose heart is “cultivated” by
Christ, will receive eternal life. Scripture designates them as
“euery plant of the field”, and “euery herbe of the field”
(Gen.2:5). Here the word “the field” means that plants are cultivated by
a man, these are cultivated plants. These “plants” need “a man” who
would take care for them.
The good seed that Jesus spoke of in the parable also needs a Man, like
the field grass. Jesus explained to his disciples: “The field is the
world. The good seed, are the children of the kingdome: but the tares
are the children of the wicked one” (Mat.13:38). The sons of the
kingdom will receive eternal life, and the sons of the wicked one will
share their part with Satan in the lake of fire.
It should be noted that a person walking along the path of Cain is not
able to understand that his enemy “cultivates” his heart. Why? The
greater light and the lesser light are called the great lights
(Gen.1:16), and it is not without reason that the angular dimensions of
the moon coincide with the angular dimensions of the sun. Nature itself
shows that to the person who has loved untruth, the devil will
completely obscure and replace the “Sun”. Any invitation to Jesus to
enter his heart is meaningless. Jesus said:
“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me, draw him”
(John.6:44).
In other words, if a person is who “loueth and maketh a lie”
searches for eternal life, he will find religion, and there can be no
doubt that the substitution of the luminary, he will not notice. The
devil is a great professional in his craft. He stands before God; he is
still a courtier in the post: “the chiefe Baker” (Gen.40). See
the work: “The Butler and the Baker.”
Jesus answered the tempter: “It is written, Man shall not liue by
bread alone, but by euery word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God”
(Mat.4:4). Therefore, every person who trusts the Word of God already
eats “of the tree of life, which is in the middest of the Paradise of
God” (Rev.2:7). Scripture calls him: “He that ouercommeth”;
“He that ouercommeth, shall not be hurt of the second death”
(Rev. 2:11).
“He that ouercommeth, shall inherite all things, and I will bee his God,
and he shall be my sonne”
(Rev.21:7).
Every person makes a long-term choice in his life. He shapes it, solving
everyday tasks, each time, consciously or unconsciously, making a choice
between the pursuit of truth or injustice, between truth and formality,
good and evil, law and lawlessness, fidelity and unfaithfulness, piety
and ungodliness.
“And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow euery tree that is
pleasant to the sight, and good for food: the tree of life also in the
midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and euill”
(Gen.2:9).
Every person, regardless of whether he is “pleasant in appearance” or
not (rich or poor), “whether he is good” or not (good or evil), makes
his choice: he eats from the tree of life or from the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil. The MEANING OF LIFE of every person whom the
LORD God has sprouted “out of the ground” is to make this choice.
It determines his fate in eternity. This world encourages people to live
for their own pleasure, take everything from life, seize the moment of
good luck, imposes a cult of consumption. But the purpose of human life
on earth is not to receive pleasure. The goal is to make a choice. And
many, agreeing with this world, are already making their choice.
God “will haue all men to bee saued, and to come vnto the knowledge
of the trueth” (1Tim.2:4), therefore the tree of life is “in the
midst of the garden” (Gen.2:9); it’s hard not to see it.
“Because that which may bee knowen of God, is manifest in them, for God
hath shewed it vnto them.
For the inuisible things of him from the Creation of the world, are
clearely seene, being vnderstood by the things that are made, euen his
eternall Power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse”
(Rom.1:19,20)
The atheist (idolater) does not have excuse, although he knows that
there will be “the iudgement of God” (Rom.1:32), therefore he
calls it the terrible judgment, because it really will be terrible for
him. Every person who eats from the tree of the knowledge of good and
evil does not seek to live according to conscience, does not care “to
retaine God in their knowledge” (Rom.1:28).
“And euen as they did not like to retaine God in their knowledge, God
gaue them ouer to a reprobate minde, to doe those things which are not
conuenient”
(Рим.1:28).
God warns such people: “thou shalt surely die” (Gen.2:17),
“this is the second death” (Rev.20:14).
A man who eats from the tree of life completely trusts God – to His
Word. There is no third way.
“in the likenesse of sinnefull flesh”
“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, & breathed into
his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a liuing soule”
(Gen.2:7).
Having taken a “vessel” like sinful flesh, God filled him with the
breath of life and Man became a living soul. The books of the New
Testament confirm the fulfillment of this prophecy: after the fourth
thousand years, “vnto you is borne this day, in the citie of Dauid, a
Sauiour, which is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11).
The verb “formed”, which is used in this verse, means to form
shape. It is used when it comes to giving a certain form to what already
exists. The Scripture in verse (Rom.8:3) explains the reason for using
the verb “formed”:
“For what the law could not doe, in that it was weake through the flesh,
God sending his owne Sonne, in the likenesse of sinnefull flesh, and for
sinne condemned sinne in the flesh”
(Rom.8:3).
But when the Author of the Scriptures tells about the creation of the
Temple, made not with hands (Gen.1:27), He uses the verb “created”,
which means to create for the first time. As you can see, the verbs
“formed” and “created” are completely different in meaning,
although they are synonyms.
Since the incarnation of the Son of God, the “irrigation of the face of
the ground” has radically changed. If until that time a mist “watered
the whole face of the ground” (Gen.2:5,6), now the river coming out
of Eden irrigated the garden.
“And a riuer went out of Eden to water the garden, and from thence it
was parted, and became into foure heads”
(Gen.2:10).
Scripture figuratively, in the form of a river flowing out of Eden,
shows the gift of grace emanating from the Throne of God -- the Father
and the Holy Spirit.
“¶ For God so loued þe world, that he
gaue his only begotten Sonne: that whosoeuer beleeueth in him, should
not perish, but haue euerlasting life”
(John.3:16).
A man who thirsts for truth and righteousness receives “of the
fountaine of the water of life, freely” (Rev. 21:6). The Lamb takes
all the costs of sin.
The river of living water emerging from the Throne was divided into
four heads. The four heads are four time periods and four groups of
saved people. They will make up the Body of Christ. The Lord God
commanded man:
“Of euery tree of the garden thou mayest freely eate.
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and euill, thou shalt not eate
of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die”
(Gen.2:16,17).
Scripture says Adam was not deceived. But Eve was deceived by the
serpent:
“For Adam was first formed, then Eue:
And Adam was not deceiued, but the woman being deceiued was in the
transgression”
(1Tim.2:13,14).
But then, why did Adam “take the fruit from his wife’s hands and also
eat”? Adam loved Eve, and therefore, without hesitation, he consciously
“took the fruit from her hands and ate” to take upon himself the wrath
of God, so that, if possible, die instead of her. Therefore, Eve's crime
became his crime too. But when “he tasted the fruit,” he changed.
In the act of Adam, Scripture shows us the ministry of Christ. In verse
17, the two words “the tree” and “die” are used because cursed “is
euery one that hangeth on tree” (Gal. 3:13). The first man Adam
violated the Law of God, and the last Adam, “in the likenesse of
sinnefull flesh” (Rom. 8: 3), having lived an earthly life,
“condemned sinne in the flesh”.
“Unto Adam also, and to his wife, did the LORD God make coates of
skinnes, and cloathed them”
(Gen.3:21).
Adam and his wife did not die; instead, the animal accepted death. And
again, Scripture through the type shows us the ministry of Christ. Ҧ
Surely he hath borne our griefes, and caried our sorrowes”
(Is.53:4), “the chastisement of our peace was vpon him”
(Is.53:5).
“And the LORD God caused a deepe sleepe to fall vpon Adam, and hee
slept; and he tooke one of his ribs, and closed vp the flesh in stead
thereof”
(Gen.2:21).
“And the rib which the LORD God had taken from man, made hee a woman, &
brought her vnto the man”
(Gen.2:22).
In these verses, the Scripture again returns us to His death on the
cross: and when “hee slept”, “one of the souldiers with a
speare pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water”
(John.19:34). For 2,000 years Christ is “soundly sleeping,” and at that
time the LORD God is creating a wife.
“I will make him an helpe”
Many people ask the question: “Why does the story in the first chapter
about the simultaneous creation of a man and a woman contradict the
story in the second chapter about appearance them in the different
time?”
These chapters have a different time scale. In the first chapter,
events take place over an enormous period of time. The second chapter of
Genesis contains a chronology of events within only seven thousand
years.
God began to create a wife, the bride of the Lamb after the verse:
“but of the tree ... thou shalt surely die” (Gen. 2:17), which
speaks of the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross.
Ҧ And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone: I
will make him an helpe meet for him”
(Gen.2:18).
The creation of the helper began on Nisan 14, 34 years. In ceremonial
law, this event is indicated by the Passover. The creation of the helper
will be completed when “Heauen and earth shall passe away” (Matt.
24:35), and the last fourth group of saved people will be in new
Jerusalem. God’s Church will consist of four groups of saved sinners.
These are faithful, and chosen, and called, and Israel with the saved
Gentiles. Outside the Church there is no salvation.
“And out of þe ground the LORD God formed euery beast of the field, and
euery foule of the aire, and brought them vnto Adam, to see what he
would call them: and whatsoeuer Adam called euery liuing creature, that
was the name thereof”
(Gen.2:19).
“euery beast of the field” and “euery foule of the aire” alone cannot
become an helper to Christ; a new birth and blessing of God is necessary
-- “This is a great mysterie” (Eph. 5:32).
“The first man is of the earth, earthy: The second man is the Lord from
heauen.
As is the earthy, such are they that are earthy, and as is the heauenly,
such are they also that are heauenly.
And as we haue borne the image of the earthy, wee shall also beare the
image of the heauenly”
(1Cor.15:47-49).
“And Adam gaue names to all cattell, and to the foule of the aire, and
to euery beast of the fielde”
(Gen.2:20).
That who overcomes will receive “a new name written, which no man
knoweth” (Rev.2:17).
“the times of this ignorance”
Two Persons in the Universe, “two great lights”, rule the day and
the night. Therefore, knowing the time of day, it is possible to
determine which of them currently rules “in the firmament of the
heauen”, which of them have power and strength. At present, “The
morning commeth, and also the night” (Is. 21:12); it means strength
and power are on the side of darkness. And vice versa, when the Light
comes into the world, the devil will be chained in the bottomlesse pit,
power and authority will be on the side of the light.
It is necessary to speak the most obvious truths, as for children in
kindergarten, because people absolutely do not understand “seasons, and
dayes and yeeres”, they do not understand who currently rules “in the
firmament of the heauen” (Gen.1:14). Times when people, having the
Word of God, cannot understand elementary things (they do not
distinguish between night and day), Scripture rightly calls it times of
ignorance (Acts 17:30).
At present, Jesus Christ, “the greater light” (Gen.1:16), does
not reign in heaven, as many people think. God brought “a deepe
sleepe” on Him to bring His wife to Him (Gen. 2: 21-24). Power over
all kingdoms is given to the devil, and he gives it to whom he wants.
God gives to him freedom of action within certain limits: “Hitherto
shalt thou come, but no further: and heere shall thy proud waues be
stayed” (Job 38:11). The night will pass when the devil is defeated
and cast into the bottomlesse pitte. But the dual foundation of the
world will continue. On the side of evil on earth, his henchmen, evil
spirits will act; they are also fallen angels (Rev. 12: 9), once in the
past they were “the starres” (Gen. 1:16). They will leave the
bottomlesse pitte on the eve of the second coming of the Lord Jesus
Christ, since to dragon will be given “the key of the bottomlesse
pitte” (Rev. 9:1).
In the future Millennium, all who are called by Jesus Christ will
receive “power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and ouer all the
power of the enemie” (Luke 10:19). They will learn to fight in order
“to withstand in the euill day, and hauing done all, to stand”
(Eph. 6:13). Therefore, the forces of evil, darkness and death will be
significantly weakened, and this will have an impact on man, on
international relations in the world. The competitive struggle between
people, between peoples “for a place in the sun”, will weaken so much
that there will be no more wars.
“And hee shall iudge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people:
and they shall beate their swords into plow-shares, and their speares
into pruning hookes: nation shall not lift vp sword against nation,
neither shall they learne warre any more”
(Is.2:4).
The isolation of the devil will have a beneficial effect on all nature:
“the light of the Moone shalbe as the light of the Sunne, and the
light of the Sunne shall be seuenfold, as the light of seuen dayes”
(Is. 30:26). This isolation will affect animals also:
“The wolfe also shall dwell with the lambe, and the leopard shall lie
downe with the kid: and the calfe and the yong lion, and the fatling
together, and a litle child shall lead them.
And the cow and the beare shall feed, their yong ones shall lie downe
together: and the lyon shall eate straw like the oxe.
And the sucking childe shall play on the hole of the aspe, and the
weaned childe shall put his hand on the cockatrice denne.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountaine: for the earth
shall bee full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters couer the
sea”
(Is.11:6-9).
About this time, it is said: “For there is no power but of God. The
powers that be, are ordeined of God” (Rom. 13:1), because “The
night is farre spent, the day is at hand”(Rom. 13:12). In the future
Millennium, the King will establish His Laws. The Sermon on the Mount of
Jesus (Matt. 5-7) is the declaration of the King, or “the royall Law”
(James 2:8), which will be given to Israel, for the teaching of the
nations. And one of its commandments says: “yee resist not euill: but
whosoeuer shall smite thee on thy right cheeke, turne to him the other
also” (Matt. 5:39). He who does evil will be punished by the
minister of God (Rom. 13: 4). But in modern society, this commandment
about non-resistance to evil is not applicable. Nowadays, it does not
work, because the higher authorities rule at night, and all existing
authorities are established by them. There are no ministers of God;
there are only the servants of the devil.
The Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian
Federation, based on the realities of our time, declares: “if a fight is
inevitable, you must beat first.” In this world, it is justified. But
how else, if world law is trampled by the Americans, and the program of
an instant global strike is prescribed in the new US doctrine? And now,
as soon as one of the parties has a clear advantage, the use of nuclear
weapons will become a reality. Russia and the United States have already
withdrawn from the INF Treaty, and soon there will be a withdrawal from
the START-3 treaty.
At present, when “the lesser light” rules the night, a person
should be guided by his conscience, even if it is connected with
violation of the law. Such a person, depending on the circumstances, can
turn the second cheek, but he also may do harm or even commit murder,
preventing (eliminating) evil. But when the day comes, a person must
submit “vnto the higher powers” (Rom. 13: 1) and fulfill “the
royall Law” (James 2:8). Witnesses chosen from God will teach all
the nations of the world “the royall Law”, “for saluation is
of the Iewes”. Scripture through the words spoken by Jesus shows us
how Israel says to the Gentiles in the future Millennium:
“Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for saluation is
of the Iewes”
(John.4:22).
Test of the Second Eve
Scripture, speaking of Christ, uses the phrase “the last Adam” (1
Cor. 15:45). By analogy with it, one can name the wife, the bride of
Christ, the second Eve. Adam and Eve, as husband and wife, are a type of
Christ and the Church. And if you return her to the Garden of Eden,
invite the devil there and experience again? Will she stand? Here it
would be more correct to ask whether he will survive after the words
spoken by him? God knows the outcome of this meeting in advance, from
the beginning of the creation of the world. And it is not in favor of
the devil, but if it were different, then there would be no sense in
creating Heaven and Earth, giving birth to the Son of God, and creating
man.
The work of the hands of the Potter, which the Scripture calls “the
chiefe of the wayes of God” (Job.40: 19), and only glance of whom
able to put down anyone (Job.41:1). The second Eve will bruise his
“head” (Gen 3:15). And his ministry will end on this.
When the Millennium is over, the devil will be “loosed a little
season” (Rev. 20: 3), “to try them that dwell vpon the earth”
(Rev. 3:10). The second Eve will pass this test “in the euill day”
(Eph.6:13).
Scripture figuratively shows us this meeting in the book of Esther and,
drawing parallels with the events in the Garden of Eden, says: “The King
will rise and go “into the palace garden”. The wife and bride of
the Lamb will be left face to face with an old serpent called “the
deuill and Satan” (Rev.12:9). There will be no promoting or help
from God; everything will be as it was at their first meeting.
Otherwise, there is no sense in this test.
The second Eve will be placed in conditions when, in order to save the
life of her neighbor (Israel), she will have to give her life. Scripture
prophetically says that Esther went in “vnto the king, to make
supplication vnto him, and to make request before him, for her people”
(Esther 4:8). Although, she knew, “whosoeuer, whether man or woman,
shall come vnto the King into the inner court, who is not called, there
is one lawe of his to put him to death” (Esther 4:11).
“And Esther said, The aduersary and enemie, is this wicked Haman. Then
Haman was afraid before the King and the Queene.
¶ And the king arising from the banquet of wine in his wrath, went into
the palace garden: and Haman stood vp to make request for his life to
Esther the Queene: for he saw that there was euill determined against
him by the King”
(Esther.7:6,7).
“Then the king returned out of the palace garden, into the place of the
banquet of wine, and Haman was fallen vpon the bed whereon Esther was.
Then said the King, Will hee force the Queene also before me in the
house? As the word went out of the Kings mouth, they couered Hamans
face”
(Esther.7:8).
What does the phrase mean: “Haman was fallen vpon the bed”
(Esther 7:8)? The devil, wanting to repeat his experience with the
second Eve, having expressed his intentions as one day in the Garden of
Eden, will be fallen overwhelmed, “for the Lord shall sell Sisera
into the hand of a woman” (Judges 4:9). Scripture shows us the
details of this final battle and the Victory over the devil in two
chapters of the book of Judges.
“shee smote Sisera, shee smote off his head, when she had pearsed &
striken through his temples.
At her feete he bowed, he fell, he lay downe: at her feet he bowed, he
fell; where he bowed, there he fel down dead”
(Judges.5:26,27).
When the King returns from the garden, the devil will be destroyed --
“they couered Hamans face”. The prophecy, said by the Lord God to
the serpent, will be fulfilled:
“And I will put enmitie betweene thee and the woman, and betweene thy
seed and her seed: it shal bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his
heele”
(Gen.3:15).
She that sit on the seat, “on his right hand” (1Kings 2:19), will
strike the devil’s head. Consider another prototype describing the final
judgment of the great white throne and the defeat of the devil. It is in
the third book of Kings (1 Kings 2). A private conversation between
Adonijah and Bathsheba is a prototype of the dialogue between the
serpent and the wife. Adonijah said to Bathsheba:
“Thou knowest that the kingdome was mine, and that all Israel set their
faces on me, that I should raigne: howbeit the kingdome is turned about,
and is become my brothers: for it was his from the Lord”
(1Kings.2:15).
Indeed, when the thousand years are over, the kingdom will belong to him
for a certain time (Rev. 20: 7,8). Because all the peoples of the world
will “set their faces on” him, that he should reign. But all
nations, encircling Jerusalem, will be destroyed.
Talking with Bathsheba, Adonijah was asking for only one thing. Wanting
to marry the beautiful, young girl of the king, he planned to regain the
kingdom. The Scripture shows with the words, “deny me not”, “I pray
thee”, “hee will not say thee nay” how the devil harassments a wife,
the bride of the Lamb. The words of Adonijah: “hee will not say thee
nay” one must understand: "Christ will write a bill of divorcement
to you." And immediately, after the words, he said, we see a different
picture. We are shown “a great white throne” (Rev. 20:11). We are
shown he that sate “on his throne” (1Kings 2:19). Scripture, in
the book of Revelation, names He who sits on the throne in the singular,
because Christ and the Church will be “one flesh” (Gen.2:24). He
that sate upon the throne is the Lord Jesus Christ. John describes Him
that sate upon the Throne:
“and beholde, a Throne was set in heauen, and one sate on the Throne”
(Rev.4:2);
“and in the middest of the throne, and round about the Throne, were
foure beastes full of eyes before and behinde”
(Rev.4:6).
“And round about the Throne were foure and twentie seates, and vpon the
seates I saw foure and twentie Elders sitting”
(Rev.4:4).
And “round about the Throne” he saw “many Angels” “the number
of them was ten thousand times tenne thousand, and thousands of
thousands” (Rev.5:11).
We will see the one sitting on the Throne if we consider the location of
the camp in the Sinai desert (Num. 2,3). This is another type of the
Seated on the Throne. In verse (1 Kings 2:19), Scripture also
figuratively shows us He who sits on the Throne. We see Christ and the
Church:
Ҧ Bathsheba therefore went vnto king Solomon, to speake vnto him for
Adoniiah: and the king rose vp to meete her, and bowed himselfe vnto
her, and sate downe on his throne, and caused a seate to bee set for the
Kings mother, and she sate on his right hand”
(1Kings.2:19).
The devil will be bound at the beginning of the Millennium, and then
released with one condition: “as soon as“ “wickednesse shall be found
in him, he shall die”(1 Kings 1:52).
Notice that in verse (1Kings 2:15), Scripture confirms the kinship
between Lucifer and Christ. The devil, referring to Christ, calls him
his brother. Christ confirms this by calling him the “elder brother”
(1Kings 2:22). See the work: “The Baker and the Butler”.
In verse (Esther. 7: 8) the Scripture names an action that the devil
once performed in the Garden of Eden in relation to Eve; he raped her.
“Will hee force the Queene also before me in the house?”
(Ether.7:8).
Since then, man has received a sinful nature, and the devil has become
the closest relative for man (Ruth.3:12). The topic of sex in this world
has become the main one. Living in a person’s sin, confronting the law
of the mind, prompts him with the words: “Somewhere inside you, a macho,
a rapist and a villain is sleeping. Let him out.”
“the bow shalbe in the cloud”
So, on the DAY of Pentecost, when “the fifth day” of creation completes,
God will bless Christ and the Church, MADING that same Jesus “both
Lord and Christ” (Acts.2:36).
The seventh Angel will sound, and there will be “great voyces in
heauen, saying, The kingdomes of this world are become the kingdomes of
our Lord, and of his Christ, and he shall reigne for euer and euer”
(Rev.11:15).
The history of Joseph, as set out in Scripture, is a prototype of the
whole way of Jesus Christ. The exaltation of Joseph by the pharaoh (Gen.
41) is a type of the enthronization of the Lord Jesus Christ. Pharaoh
said to Joseph:
“Thou shalt be ouer my house, and according vnto thy word shall all my
people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater then thou”
(Gen.41:40).
In the future Millennium, the Lord Jesus Christ will sit on the Throne,
but the Father will continue to complete the construction of the Temple,
not made with hands, therefore only in the Throne will He be greater
than Son. The Lord Jesus Christ, like an intern who gains experience in
his specialty, will learn from the Father. Jesus said:
“Uerily, verily I say vnto you, The sonne can doe nothing of himselfe,
but what he seeth the Father doe: for what things soeuer he doeth, these
also doth the sonne likewise.
For the father loueth the sonne, and sheweth him all things that
himselfe doth: & he will shew him greater works then these, that ye may
marueile”
(John.5:19,20).
Сalled, & chosen, and faithfull “shall be Priests of God, and of
Christ, and shall reigne with him a thousand yeeres” (Rev.20:6).
Scripture on behalf of Christ says:
“To him that ouercommeth, will I graunt to sit with mee in my throne,
euen as I also ouercame, and am set downe with my Father in his throne”
(Rev.3:21).
When the “sixth day” of creation completes, God will bless He who sits
on the great white throne, making Him that is over all, God blessed
forever (Rom.9:5); “he that sate vpon the throne” (Rev. 21: 5) on
the “seventh day” of creation was God and the Lamb. This is the holy
Temple in the Lord.
“For the Lord God Almightie, and the Lambe, are the Temple of it”
(Rev.21:22).
The prototype of Christ after the completion of “the sixth day” of
creation is Noah coming out of the Ark.
“And God blessed Noah, and his sonnes, and said vnto them, Bee fruitfull
and multiply, and replenish the earth.
And the feare of you, & the dread of you shall be vpon euery beast of
the earth, and vpon euery fowle of the aire, vpon all that mooueth vpon
the earth, and vpon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they
deliuered”
(Gen.9:1,2).
Scripture shows us the likeness of the throne and the Seated God and the
Lamb on it (Rev. 22: 1) in a vision of Ezekiel. Above the firmament,
which was over the heads of four living creatures, “was the likenesse
of a Throne, as the appearance of a Saphyre stone, and vpon the
likenesse of the Throne was the likenesse as the appearance of a man
aboue vpon it”.
Ezekiel saw “as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round
about within it: from the appearance of his loynes euen vpward, and from
the appearance of his loynes euen downeward, I saw as it were the
appearance of fire, & it had brightnesse round about.
As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloude in the day of raine,
so was the appearance of the brightnesse round about”
(Ezek.1:26-28).
God told Noah that “the bow” would be in the cloud; it will be
“the euerlasting couenant betweene God and euery liuing creature, of all
flesh that is vpon the earth” (Gen. 9:16). This means that
“neither shal all flesh be cut off any more” (Gen.9:11) on the
earth, the new Heaven and the new Earth will abide forever. The sign of
the covenant will be God Himself: “the Temple not made with hands”,
“the bow shalbe in the cloud”.
On the Internet you can find many drawings showing us the vision of
Ezekiel. The depiction of the Temple made not with hands depends on the
imagination of the artist, although none of them had a clue what he was
painting and what it means “the appearance of the likenesse of the
glory of the Lord” (Ezek 1:28).
Scripture says that on the “seventh day” God (the Father and the Spirit
of God) will complete “his worke, which hee had made” and rest
“from all his worke, which he had made” (Gen.2:2). Scripture from
the name of God tells the Lord Jesus Christ:
“that hee may come and sit vpon my throne; for he shall be king in my
stead: and I haue appointed him to be ruler ouer Israel, and ouer Iudah”
(1Kings.1:35).
Until that time, for a thousand years, the Son will sit at the right
hand of the Father, but now, after receiving all the powers, the Son
will be in His “stead”. One God: Christ and the Church will rule
in the new Heaven and new Earth.
Christ leave His Father and Mother, “and shall be ioyned vnto his
wife, and they two shalbe one flesh” (Eph.5:31).
One can be assumed, God (the Father and the Holy Spirit) will create new
lives in new worlds.
